LAURA MANINO
Born in 1979 in Mendoza, Argentina, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree with artistic orientation at the School of Fine Arts in 1998. Later he studied until the 3rd year at the IUNA -National University Institute of Art- until 2001, in Buenos Aires, argenitna.
Between 2002 and 2007 he lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
She currently lives in Mar del Plata, Province of Buenos Aires. Complete your training by doing workshops and clinics with: María. Nilda Rosemberg, GRAPPA group (led by Josefina Fossatti and Claudio Roveda), Mariana Rodríguez Iglesias, Pablo Sinaí, Leila Tschopp, Daniel Fitte, María Lightowler, Carolina Bagnato, Lydia Betard, Grace Bayala and Diego Bresler.

Roma Vaquero Díaz's practice can be situated at the intersection of performance, image and writing, as an investigation into the affective and transformative powers of gesture. She explores the body as living matter and movement as a portal for transformation, where the intimate is linked to the collective.
Her works incorporate gestures, natural objects, territories and affective archives that are activated in rituals, bringing the human and the non-human, the present and the ancestral into dialogue. Her work has been presented in museums, festivals and residencies in Argentina, Europe, the United States and Asia.
In parallel, she directs Mundo Performance, a platform dedicated to research, training and archiving of action art, and has published How Many Bodies Go into one Body and Archive to Get Myself Back. Each project affirms the porous and relational condition of the body, open to other bodies, memories and possible ways of life.

BIO
Roma Vaquero Diaz (Buenos Aires, 1982) es artista visual y de performance. Trabaja en torno a prácticas, gestos y ecosistema, en diálogo con memorias, afectos y archivos autoficcionales. Es Magister en Lenguajes Artísticos Combinados por la Universidad Nacional de las Artes y Licenciada en Arte Escénica por la Universidad Nacional de Rosario. Desde 2017 dirige Mundo Performance, plataforma dedicada a la formación, investigación y profesionalización en arte de performance y artes visuales.
Su obra ha sido exhibida nacional e internacionalmente en muestras como Lo que vemos, lo que nos mira en ArtexArte (2025), Marginalia. Notas, visiones y escrituras en los bordes en Bienal POSVERSO, Casa Pronto (2024), FlowILM en el Cameron Art Museum en Carolina del Norte (2024), ARDER en lo que ya ardiendo ardía en el Museo del libro y de la lengua (2023), el Festival Luminic de fotografía contemporánea en Barcelona (2022-23), Políticas del deseo en el Centro Cultural Kirchner (2020) y su muestra individual en el Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes Emilio Pettoruti (2019).
En el ámbito editorial publicó Cuántos cuerpos entran en un cuerpo (Editorial Flanbé, 2020) y Archivo para recuperarme (La Balsa Editora, 2025) Su trabajo también integra EMERGENCY INDEX. Documento anual de prácticas de performance (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2023). Realizó residencias como Manta en Aluminé (2024), Curadora en Santa Fe (2023), Raíces en Catamarca (2022) y R.A.R.O. en Madrid (2022).
Roma Vaquero Diaz vive y trabaja en Buenos Aires, donde desarrolla una investigación artística que enlaza performance, fotografía y experiencias escriturales y editoriales en relación con el entorno y en búsqueda continua.
