The Artists Representation works on the management, circulation, diffusion and commercialization of the production and career of each artist that is part of the staff. With a curatorial look, it operates on a selection that addresses contemporary language from painting, photography, video, installation and a diversity of current media.

María Lightowler

(Bs As, Argentina, 1979 - Currently lives in Madrid, Spain)

I am a curator, researcher and museologist. I have been working for more than 10 years in the management of cultural projects and if I had to define myself in a few words I would say that my ability lies in achieving objectives.

I accompany visual artists in the projection and promotion of their professional careerssionals from cultural management and marketing.

In the exhibition field, both as a curator and as a producer, I carry out projects in museums, foundations, art rooms, galleries, art fairs and spaces in Latin America and internationally with more than fifteen years of experience.

I also like to work collaboratively, that's why together with Glocal Project Consultingculturall agency based in Rome (Italy)- since 2013 we organize events for Latin America and

Europe.

I worked in different art galleries in Argentina and between 2009 and 2013 I ran my own exhibition space and the commercialization of works of art. It was a wonderful and exhausting experience that opened up a world of possibilities and showed me that I could set a goal that seemed impossible and still achieve it. With that impulse, some time later, I founded Lluvia Oficina de Curaduría y Museología, where the notion of "service office for artists and art collections" was central. All this experience allowed me to merge my interests and my potentialities in the figure of Visual Artists Representative, promoting a personalized work in complicity with a carefully selected staff of artists.

In curatorial terms, my interest is focused on artists who are outside of historical circulation and on contemporary living artists who use documentation and the heritage as a tool for thought and discussion.

I am curious, so my professional field is very comprehensive, but I think that the guide is always the art, which, after all, is what I am passionate about.
