GLORIA MATARAZZO
Como activa paseante, observa su entorno, consciente de la vitalidad que hoy tiene cada ciudad, de la que toma referencias. El paisaje es también un fuerte detonante en su poética, desencadenando nociones sobre el espacio, el entorno -cotidiano o ajeno-, lo común, la comunidad y los viajes. Al estrechar los límites entre lo autorreferencial y lo colectivo, su obra busca reflexionar sobre el ser en sociedad, sobre el intercambio como seres humanos y sobre cómo habitamos colectivamente la geografía.

As an active walker, she observes her surroundings, aware of the vitality that each city has today, from which she takes references. The landscape is also a strong trigger in her poetics, triggering notions of space, the environment - every day or foreign -, the common, the community, and journeys. Tightening the boundaries between the self-referential and the collective, her work seeks to reflect on being in society, on exchange as human beings, and on how we collectively inhabit geography.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She studied Art Theory with Professor Jorge López Anaya.
Philosophy of Modern Art with Graduate Elena Oliveras.
Member of the Gen Creativity group, coordinated by the artist Emilio Renart. She carries out a Photographic Work Clinic with Fabiana Barreda.

n. Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She trained in painting with Luis Wells at the Asociación Amigos del Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, with Liana Lestard and Juan Astica -workshop she continues to attend-. She completed her training in collage with Ángela Corti and Eduardo Stupía. During 2022 she was part of the Artists Program in charge of Verónica Gómez. That same year she received a Mention in Painting at the National Salon of the Bonfiglioli Museum, Córdoba, Argentina, and attended the workshops of artists Raquel Forner and Kenneth Kemble.
